This website was first conceived on January 12, 2025. I originally planned to use Hugo as a way to learn Go while building the site. Unclear documentation—and my lack of Go experience—led me to switch static site generators.

Luckily, I stumbled onto Zola after running into others who shared a similar frustration with the documentation, especially when building without a theme.

This site uses custom fonts as an opportunity to explore the world of typography and develop my design sensibilities. I want to make this site truly my own and not cookie-cutter.

I've opted to use Tailwind CSS for styling. Tailwind CSS includes sensible defaults and was quick to spin up. It doesn't hurt that I get to learn Tailwind CSS and its approach to styling while designing my website.
